What do I need to provide?
Whether it is for flyers, brochures, books or magazines, you will need to provide the following:
1. Color choice/ Motif color - blue, red, green, etc or black & white
2. Image - indicate how many images to use, if you can give a few samples
3. Text - a few pages or lines to be placed in the output
4. Sample design you liked from the internet, book, etc
5. Page size ( 8.5 x 11- short, long, A4, A5, etc)
6. Number of Pages
7. Number of folds or one-sided/back-to-back (for flyers or brochure)

How will I know the price or charge?
You have to provide those 7 things initially upon asking for a price quotation. This is because the price varies with complexity of design, page size and number, tables or images to be placed, etc.

Graphic designers can't give a price quotation without information on what needs to be done. Please take the time to give a brief description.

As a client, how can I communicate my ideas?
Get images from the internet that you want the look/design. If you say, I like it to be minimalistic or classy, we might have different definitions of what those mean. In that case, I will let you pick through several photos so we can both agree to a definite design.

Question 1: How about if I want it to be unique? I don't want the output to be like the ones in the internet...
I won't copy exactly the design. It's just an inspiration. I will still add in your own taste or personality into the new output.

Question 2: Can you make a product or output even without enough specifications from us?

Yes, I can produce an output but I will help you brainstorm or think about what you really like. I can suggest and let you choose among different designs I find appropriate in the internet. I will ask several questions first to come up with a definite design.

What is the process? How long will it take?
Upon providing me with all those needed information listed above, I will respond with a quotation. This can still be a price range if you haven't given a few pages or a glimpse of the real file I'll be working on.
Important: Before doing the layout of the whole document, I have to make sure that we both agreed to the design. Inform me all of your instructions before making the downpayment. Any changes in the agreed design will lead to re-negotiation of price.
Formatting varies from 1-3 days for flyers, brochures, posters. If you want to choose among 2-3 designs, let me know.
Formatting of books or magazine varies from 2 to 5 days or a week, depending on the number of pages, image enhancements, etc. For books/magazines, I require my clients to have their text proofread already and final. Encoding of corrections, proofreading, and other services (aside from layouting) will be additionally charged.
Can I ask you to work on a few pages first before I let you take on the project?
Sure, but it has to be paid. It still takes time and effort to do it. You can assess if I can do the work based on my portfolio. You can ask one if I have a sample work on hand because I don't share everything online.

Important: I don't give raw files for a few pages of trial layout. The output is only a pdf file. The font style and design will only be disclosed when the project will be continued for the whole file.

What if I'm from a different place?
Most of my clients are online. I prefer online transactions. As long as you can describe well the output that you envisioned, it won't be a hindrance. If you are in the Philippines, we can talk over the mobile phone and chat thru, Viber, FB or gmail.
How many revisions will I get?
Depending on the project, I will indicate in my price quotation the number of revisions.

Important: For small projects, I require that clients submit their comments for revisions within 2-3 days. For non-response after 3 days, it is understood that the work is already finished and accepted by the client. Any correction that will be made after 3 days will be re-calculated for pricing.
Minor revisions are those that do not affect the whole layout that I first submitted. They are like changing a short phrase, a word. Major revisions entail adding new images or paragraphs that will move all the elements and will require relayouting the whole document.

How will I pay?
You can pay thru bank transfer, PayMaya and Paypal (international clients). If you have other payment methods, please inform me.
I require downpayments which I will include in the price quotation. Late payments will be additionally charged.
How will my files be treated?
For books, it will be treated with confidentiality because of copyright. The whole digital file will be confidential. However, about 4 pages will be used as a portfolio to be shown to prospective clients.
For magazines, about 2-4 pages will be showcased in my portfolio.
For flyers, brochures, posters, these will be showcased in my portfolio.
*Note: You can inform me beforehand if any portion of your file or all files need to be treated with confidentiality. In this case, it will not be a part of my portfolio.
